Hi, I’m Daniel Navarro.

I grew up in the Bronx surrounded by video stores, horror movie covers, and games that made fictional worlds feel larger than the screen.

Movies such as Alien, Terminator, and Hellraiser, along with games like Silent Hill, Max Payne, and Uncharted 4, shaped my interest in horror, cinematic storytelling, and interactive media.

I am completing a bachelor's degree in Game Design with a minor in Film and Media at Georgia State University. In Fall 2026, I will begin the Digital Filmmaking MFA program with a concentration in Virtual Production and Visual Effects.

My work moves between game development, animation, previs, character creation, and immersive technology. Technical art appeals to me because it connects creative ideas with the tools needed to make them work.

Outside of entertainment, I am developing CellHorizon, a VR platform concept focused on job training, therapy, mental health support, and life-skills development for incarcerated people. Whether I am creating a horror character or a practical VR experience, I want the final project to have a clear purpose and point of view.
