Project Overview

CellHorizon is a VR platform concept for job training, therapy, mental health support, and life skills for incarcerated people.

The idea started broad, so I had to narrow it into a clear problem, audience, group of experiences, and reason for using VR.

MY ROLE

As the founder and creative lead, I developed the concept, brand direction, pitch deck, landing page, demo ideas, customer assumptions, and presentation materials. I also learned how to explain the project to people outside of game development without burying its purpose under technical language.

SKILLS THIS PROJECT SHOWS

CellHorizon shows entrepreneurship, VR experience design, branding, research, visual communication, problem solving, pitching, and audience-focused writing. Unlike my horror work, it shows how I can use immersive media to address a real-world need.

IMPACT AND OUTCOME

CellHorizon was accepted into Georgia State’s Main Street Foundry and the Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund Cohort 6. That gave me outside confirmation that the idea could stand on more than visuals and that I could present a creative concept as a serious, workable venture.
